Kids spend a lot of time on the Internet and it's important for parents to show their children how to be safe and should filter what they see.

The top tips that they recommend to kids are:
1. The Internet is Forever. It'll always be there so it's important to be sure everything's private!
2. Don't put personal information online.
3. Don't forget about smartphone cyber-safety. Don't accept phone calls or texts from strangers.
4. Handle hacking intelligently.

Those bulging bellies are increasingly seen as beautiful and natural, not something to be hidden. Go for clothes that celebrate your curves, rather than masses of draping fabric to veil your tummy! Here are some tops that are both stylish and comfortable for those yummy mummys!

You'd think Alicia Keys would have a over-the-top wedding but it wasn't the case. They had a private ceremony in a private home in France with family and close friends.
The pregnant bride wore a Grecia-inspired Vera Wang dress and carried a bouquet of purple calla lillies. The groom was decked out in a Tom Ford tuxedo. Alicia got married when they were expecting their first child together.
Alicia was definitely glowing on her happy day!
Delivery gowns provided by hospitals are okay because they do what they're supposed to do but some mommy's prefer to look good for when they meet their baby for the first time. If you’re interested in delivering your baby in style, here are five great fashionable, functional and most importantly, comfortable options when it comes to maternity gowns.

This gown was cleverly designed by a nurse to be suitable for the birthing process—but without the embarrassment of having the back hanging open like on a standard hospital gown. It fits like a typical wrap dress with an empire waist and looks like a regular outfit that’s attractive enough for visitors and pictures. Yet, it’s still functional, opening easily with front ties to nurse or for check-ups. It's available in a variety of colors!

These gowns are made with a cross over front and shoulder snaps to make exams and breastfeeding a breeze without being completely exposed. No need to worry about showing off your tushy either, the gowns snap closed down the back from top to bottom! Empire-waist fit. A matching ribbon is included to be tied at the empire waist for those last minute belly pics and to pretty the look for visitors!

Maternity Delivery Nursing Gown - Grey Polka Dot

LadyMaternity.com offers a hand made Maternity Nursing Gown, in Grey Polka Dot.  All delivery gowns have snap tabs on the straps to allow for easy breastfeeding.  These maternity delivery gowns are a trendy and fun alternative to hospital gowns and are a must have for new mom to be!

More and more families are becoming more eco-conscious and have decided to go for cloth diapering. But not everyone's convinced of the benefits of using cloth diapers and that's why we've prepared for you the main reasons to switching from regular disposable diapers to cloth diapers!

  1. Save a lot of moneyDepending on which cloth diapering system you decide to use, you can save approximately $1,500 per child!
  2. Prevent wasteBased on a report from the Women's Environmental Network, The Real Diaper Association reports:
    • Disposable diapers are the third most common consumer product in landfills today.
    • A disposable diaper may take up to 500 years to decompose.
    • One baby in disposable diapers will contribute at least 1 ton of waste to your local landfill.
  3. It's convenient. A lot of cloth diapers are designed to prevent leaks and you'll never run out of them!
  4. Baby's more comfortableCloth diapers allow for better airflow, which helps the moisture that’s sitting on the baby’s skin to evaporate, leaving your baby drier and less prone to diaper rash.
  5. More fashionable! You can find a lot of trendy cloth diapers that have been crafted with chic and ease of use in mind.

So, what do you think? Do you think you're going to switch to cloth diapers now? Let us know about your choices! :)

Some women believe it's important to get married before they have a baby, even if it means they'll have to do it while they're pregnant. It can be an extremely romantic experience as you'll be taking your vows while you feel your little bundle of joy inside of you.
Although, not everyone feels the same and a lot of other moms-to-be like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Simpson have chosen to wait to tie the knot until they've already become a mom. If you wait until the baby comes, he or she will be part of your day and be in the photos but it also means you'll have to plan the wedding with a newborn in the house. Meaning... no sleep, feedings every few hours, you barely have time to take a shower, let alone plan one of the most important days of your life.

There's obviously no right answer for anyone and you have to decide what's most important to you and how you envision your wedding day, then go for it.

If you decide to get married while pregnant, or you're still thinking about it. You can take a look at our Maternity Wedding Gowns that will hopefully convince you that you can look good while you're taking the next step while your pregnant.

TELL US: Would you/Did you get married while pregnant? Or would you/Did you wait until after having the baby to get married? Share the pros and cons of your choice.
During your pregnancy, you should take care of yourself because in doing so, you are taking care of your baby and this is going to be your number one priority in your life.
Make sure to be kind to yourself and follow these top 5 pregnancy tips:
1. Rest.
Listen to your body, nap if it asks you to do so because you are growing a human being. It's not an easy thing to do if you have a busy schedule but atleast try to make your night time sleep as comfortable as possible. For this, avoid eating right before bed, have water in your night stand and get a pregnancy pillow.
2. Stay Active.
It is very important to stay active during pregnancy because it will help you with your energy levels and self-esteem. Plus, it'll make it easier to get back into shape afterwards! You can consider Yoga, walking or even swimming. Start with short periods of exercise, and gradually increase the amount of time you are exercising.
3.  Prenatal vitamins.
It's almost impossible to give your baby all the nutrients it needs (and you need) during the pregnancy. That's why you can rely on the vitamins for this!
4. Eat well.
Pregnancy is the perfect time to overcome all the issues you have with food for your child and his/her growth. You want to teach them self-love and a healthy relationship with food, so it's good to start when they're just a baby!
5. Keep your self-esteem high.
The new curves aren't welcomed by all mommys-to-be. It can be difficult to adapt to your changing body but you have to remember that these changes are for your baby's benefit and that you'll be able to get back into shape afterwards. It's important to always keep in mind why these changes are happening to keep your self-esteem high.
If you fear stretch marks and sagging skin, you can take action with different kinds of creams.

Remember, the better you treat yourself, the better you will feel and the pregnancy will be much easier!

At first we were a bit skeptical when we first received our first stock of products. However, after trying it, we are now full on converts and recommend them to any and all expectant moms. Why? Because these tummy wraps really do make you feel and look good.
The elastic bands are created as binders to compress your abdominal area after delivery. It may sound uncomfortable, but in fact, they come in a variety of lightweight, comfortable, and even organic materials. In Ladymaternity.com we have the 12 Belly Band and the 9 Belly band. These bands help with your posture, takes pressure off your legs and back, and helps reduce that uncomfortable uterine swelling and bloating so many moms experience post delivery.

They can also be used after a c-section. Most come with adjustable Velcro closures that can help you get back into your pre-pregnancy shape. But you know what's the best part? You can wear them underneathe your clothes and no one but you will even know its there.
We can't promise that it'll make your extra pounds melt away but it'll help tighten your tummy post pregnancy.
Have you ever heard of diaper cakes? They can be used as a centerpiece and are great gifts for baby showers because everything in them can be used by the baby. They are mainly made from diapers, stuffed toys, bibs and other baby things. They're definitely a complete gift for a mommy-to-be!
If you're the crafty type, you can create your own diaper cakes but if you prefer to find something done that looks great, here are some examples you can find in LadyMaternity.com!

Valentine’s Day is here! And if you have a little one on the way, you have even more of a reason to celebrate. Either you're a hopeless romantic or you think of it as a Hallmark holiday, celebrate it! It's important to enjoy these dates with your partner because it'll be a lot harder to plan time alone once the baby comes!

So what should a mommy-to-be wear on Valentine's Day? Are you going out during the day or night? Whatever your plans are, here are some looks we've put together for you.

Day Dates:

Having a date during the day is always fun because it's a lot more relaxed and casual and restaurants on Valentine's day are less crowded. If you are the casual type, a cute top like the Long Sleeve Scoop Top and a pair of leggings will look good! And if you want something more "romantic" but comfortable, the Drops of Jupiter Dress will do the trick.

All us women know that choosing the correct undergarment to match an outfit is very important so that the outfit can look just right. Therefore, once you begin to show, it's important to take a second look at your underwear because there's a good chance that you'll have to purchase maternity wear.

You should look into getting cotton undergarments because it is a natural fiber that allows your skin to breathe and doesn't irritate it. For pantyhose, you can either purchase a maternity hose or even wear the queen size version of your usual size.

As your body changes, your breasts will change as well and you can purchase maternity bras to prepare to when the baby comes and you'll have to breast feed. Maternity bras also offer more support through the back along with thicker straps across your shoulders.

You can find in LadyMaternity.com different kinds of stylish and functional Maternity bras.

Molded Cotton Nursing Bra Lacey leopard Nursing Bra

Remember, whatever is most comfortable for you to wear is what you should purchase.

It's important to have the "perfect" diaper bag that's both stylish but very functional. This can significantly reduce the stress you may experience when going out with your baby.

The first thing you have to consider is: Storage.

Storage is key
Not just the capacity to carry all you need, but also how it's organized. If you're a first-time Mom, you may be surprised how many thing you're going to be bringing around to support both of you and your baby's needs.

Here's a list of items you're going to be bringing around just so you know what to expect!

That's why we've started a new section on our blog: maternity looks! We'll be posting every now and then looks that you can totally wear and look great in it. And you'll be able to purchase these looks in our store. Doesn't that sound handy?

For those expecting mommy's, it's important to start watching your language and trying to avoid swearing. Kids are like sponges and they will easily copy what they hear! So here are some tips to train yourself to stop swearing:

1. Enlist the help of your partner/a friend. Sharing this task will make the whole experience more tolerable and even enjoyable. Having someone to hold you accountable for your swearing slip-ups will force you to stick to your guns and kick this bad habit once and for all.

2. Use a swear jar. This method has helped a lot of people and it involves taking a large jar and adding a dollar every time you say a swear word.
- It's a punishment because you have to pay a jar every time you slip.
- It's also a reward because once the jar is full, you can spend the money on whatever you like!

3. Identify your triggers and learn to avoid them. Everyone gets stressed out in certain situations and tends to swear more when they occur. For example, traffic or when people walk really slow. If you can identify these triggers, remove yourself from any of those situations which cause negative emotions and you'll be able to control yourself more.

4. Ping your wrist with a rubber band. All you need is to wear a rubber band or a hair tie around your wrist and give it a firm snap every time you swear. This way, your brain will come to associate swearing with pain and will eventually cause you to mentally shy away from using bad words.

So what way do you think is perfect for you? Is there any method you've used that we haven't mentioned? Comment below and let us know!

For now, we'll leave you with a video of some kids saying the worst things their mommy's have said. Enjoy!

Drew Barrymore and her new husband Will Kopeman looked great on their wedding day. Drew looked radiant, happy and pregnant (she was 6 months pregnant)!
The bride wore a custom long, white Chanel dress pleated in muslin and organza, created for her by Karl Lagerfeld. The dress, which was accentuated at the waist by a black satin belt, also had flowers embroidered in organza, muslin, tulle and feathers along the skirt of the dress. Barrymore was also wearing Chanel fine jewelry.
What do you think of the dress? Here are some options we think might've looked great on her!

Some priests will be embarrassed by your pregnancy and won't want the wedding to be done in a "public setting".

But most priests would not mind at all as long as he doesn't believe you're being pressured to be married only because you are pregnant and think of it as an obligation. In this case, the priest will force you to postpone the wedding until you are free to make a choice to be married without the pressure.

In conclusion, pregnant brides can be married in the church building and there is not a general reason to have their wedding in another place.

So don't worry about it! As long as you plan ahead, inform your priest of the situation and prepare for the great day, everything will work out just fine. What experiences have you had? Have you stumbled upon any problems with priests? Let us know!

Now, do you already know which dress you're going to be wearing? You can find our selection of Maternity Wedding Dresses and some suggestions below:
